When economies whose industries exhibit increasing return to scale technology, the main benefit of free trade come in the form of large market size where a lower average cost of production due to increased volume of production can be realized.(the country with large market size has a larger number of manufacturing firms, because of economies of scale, the relative price and cost of manufactures in the larger country maybe lower than smaller country)

所以我想这个market size effect在某种程度上来说，也是Lamcaster(1980)所说的false comparative advantage.
