我用的是GAUSS 6 破解heavey版，也安装了gpe2（60）。 在求线性方程时没出什么大问题，但是在求解“非线性”方程最值的时候出现：Using GPE2: Key Not Found，和“currently active call:_gpe2chk[88]”！！！

一直搞不明白到底时哪里出了问题。后来在google搜到一条注释，说是如果gpe2安装在盗版的GAUSS上，GAUSS就只解做线性的而不能解非线性的问题。确实如此吗？？？想请问同用盗版的朋友，你们的GAUSS6能解非线性问题？？？ 请高人帮忙解答一下。急盼回复 谢谢

哈哈，反正是俺的可以用，你的gpe2必须是从买的书上随机光盘中安装的

如果你的gauss目录下没有gpe2.fst文件，说明不是正式的gpe2安装

“说是如果gpe2安装在盗版的GAUSS上，GAUSS就只解做线性的而不能解非线性的问题。”，听起来挺神奇的～～

我的没有问题～～

怪了，为什么我就不行呢？我的gpe2不是来自的书上随机光盘，是从网上下载的。

我从昨天晚上到今天一直在搞这个东西，light和heavy版我都下载安装了。5.0 light版及对应的gpe2－50是从林书随机附带光盘上拷下来的；6.0heavy版从这里论坛上找到，gpe2－60从林光平的个人主页上找到的，并按照提示破解（好像提供下载的帖子还是haoqm发的）。

破解后我的6.0heavy显示的是 Kernel Rev：6.0.36 GUI Rev:6.0.17 Lincense ID：Error 470 License Type：NiTROUS

找了个数据文件测试了以下，矩阵维数在100以下的，只有5.0可以做非线性最值求解，6.0不行，线性回归两者都可以。维数超过100的，两者都不能做非线性最值求解，只有6.0可以做线性回归。

to：haoqm 我的安装文件夹里面的确没有你说的那个gpe2.fst，哪里可以找到啊 to：gloryfly 类似含义的话在林的个人主页上能够找到：www.econ.pdx.edu/staff/kpl

gpe2－60从林光平的个人主页上找到的，是不行的。那里只是升级文件，并非安装文件。

gpe2从随机附带光盘上利用安装文件安装才行。安装后才有gpe2.fst（安装钥匙文件）

林的附带光盘上有gpe2-60这个文件吗？？gpe2-50倒是有，莫非你装的是GAUSS 5.0。

光盘中readme文件的内容我复制下来了，具体如下：

If you have Gauss 5.0 pre-installed in your computer, you need only to run GPE2-50.EXE. If you have Gauss 4.0 pre-installed in your computer, you need only to run GPE2-40.EXE. If you have Gauss 3.6 pre-installed in your computer, you need only to run GPE2-36.EXE. If you have GAUSS 3.5 pre-installed in your computer, you need only to run GPE2-35.EXE. If you have GAUSS 3.2 pre- installed in your computer, you need only to run GPE2-32.EXE. If you do not have GAUSS pre-installed in your computer, you have to install GAUSS Light 5.0 for Windows first. This CD-ROM includes a free copy of GAUSS Light software. See the contents of GaussLight folder, and read the file README.1st to install GAUSS. Please read the terms and license agreement before installing and using GAUSS. Upon the completion of GAUSS installation, run GPE2-50.EXE to install GPE.

After successfully installing GPE, you will see the following files in the GAUSS directory:

Make sure that the version number of GPE matches with that of your GAUSS program. GPE package (version 2) should be used with the book "Computational Econometrics: GAUSS Programming for Econometricians and Financial Analysts" (GPEBOOK.PDF) which describes how to use GPE for econometric analysis and applications in details. The Quick Guide (GPEGUIDE.PDF) will be useful when you are familiar with GPE and GAUSS. If you use electronic version of the Book or Quick Guide, You need Acrobat Reader (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html) to read them.
