Dear colleagues

It is my great pleasure to invite applications for three doctoral researchers to work with me on a 5-year project entitled "Volatile Waters and the Hydrosocial Anthropocene: a Comparative Study of Life in Major River Deltas", funded by the German research council DFB.

The project is based at the University of Cologne. The doctoral researchers are to plan and conduct individual ethnographic research with inhabitants of a delta in different world regions, as well as contribute to the overall project.
