文章2摘要：The article presents a study which showed how to quantify the risk of financial failure through the gambler's ruin approach. Business managers should have known the inadequacies of traditional measures of financial strength. In this article, a model was developed to provide a more reliable alternative to assessing the probability of a firm's ultimate failure. Finally, the author elucidates how the information gained under this approach can be used by management to handle the risk of business failure.
