1、Going Forward
When you hear management say "going forward", it implies a mistake was made and they want change directions without that happening again in the near future.
当你听到管理层说"going forward"，它的意思是你犯错误了，他们需要调整方向，不希望以后再发生类似事情。
2、Touch Base
The catch phrase "touch base" means to establish brief conversation with someone in order to get on the same page. Typically management wants you to touch base several times to determine your progress on a project or goal.
"touch base"这个词组表示为了了解某事的相关情况以达到共同层面而与某人进行简单的对话交流。管理层想要了解你的项目或目标进展如何就会跟你聊聊，通过多次探底以期达到共同层面，这是很典型的案例。
3、Close the Deal
When you hear someone in the office say "close the deal", they simply want you to get the sale. In other words, do this or risk losing your job would be more appropriate.
当你听到办公室有人说"close the deal"时，你要知道他们是要你成单。换句话说，要么拿下这个单子要么冒着丢掉工作的风险，这样说可能更恰当些。
3、Game Changing
If your management tells you they have an idea that is "game-changing", be prepared to forget everything you learned up to this point. Someone in the company obviously wants to go a different route, and everyone will have to make adjustments.
如果管理层告诉你他们有个想法，但这个想法可能是扭转战局的，那么做好心理准备，忘掉你所知道相关事情。很明显，公司里有人想要走另外一条不同的路线，而每个人都将跟着做各项调整。
