Your final purpose is going to apply a full PhD scholarship from the G5 universities, right? And who will evaluate your application ? who?  That is, G5 professors.

Now, please consider what happen if they find out you have a Post-doc record but you actually do not have a PhD degree? I hope this makes sense to you
