total quantity sold * selling price per unit = total fixed costs + total variable costs
                                                          = total fixed costs + total quantity sold * variable cost per unit
total quantity sold (selling price per unit - variable cost per unit) = total fixed costs
total quantity sold = total fixed costs/(selling price per unit - variable cost per unit)
                           = total fixed costs/contribution per unit
