  最近看了一本书:《抹大拉的玛利亚手稿——荷鲁斯炼金术和伊希斯性魔法》(TheMagdalen Manuscript——The Alchmies of Horus & The Sex Magic ofIsis)。这本书的第一部分内容是抹大拉的玛利亚通灵传导,主要讲述了她和约书亚(耶稣)之间的故事。书的作者是TomKenyon和JudiSion,最初是Judi提出想连接抹大拉的玛利亚以了解她的故事,传导是经由Tom,Judi负责记录。此书之所以叫《抹大拉的玛利亚手稿》是因为,传导的这部分内容每个词句都是抹大拉的玛利仔细斟酌的,传导完成之后还会进行修正。所以也可算是抹大拉的玛利亚“亲手”写的了。估计很多朋友都会对这个传导感兴趣,篇幅也不是很长,于是打算把它翻译出来分享。为了不扭曲原意,把英文原文保留,附录是术语表。下面进入传导正文。

FOURTEEN(十四)


When I, anInitiate of Isis, joined together with Yeshua, there were specificpathways I had to open within myself. I was stunned, however, todiscover that many of these pathways were spontaneously opening inhis presence. I mentioned at the beginning of this story how Itrembled as a woman, having to struggle with my own passions anddesires; for the path of the Initiate is to use the energy ofpassion in a highly specific way, and not to simply be carried offby it; for alchemy requires that energy be contained so that it canbe transformed.

Very quicklyYeshua and I achieved the state what is known as the Four Serpents.This occurs when both have mastered the internal Alchemies of Horusto the extent that they can activate both the Solar and the LunarSerpents within their spines.

Clairvoyantlythere is a central channel that runs up through the spine, and tothe left there is a Lunar Circuit and to the right a Solar Circuit,called the Ida and Pingala by the yogis and yoginis.

In theAlchemies of Horus one causes these two circuits to be activated bymagnetic fields that are snakelike.

The Lunar Snakeon the left side is pitch black, the color of the Void; so indeed,it is the embodiment of the Void itself and holds the potential asthe Creatrix for all things.

The SolarSerpent is gold.

An Initiatecauses these Two Serpents to rise upward. As they rise upward theypierce the chakras and cross over each other. In the Alchemy ofHorus these Two Serpents cross each other through the fifth seal,or throat, and all seals beneath.

They then faceeach other, at an area approximately where the pineal gland is, orthe center of the head. Here a chalice is envisioned with thepineal gland at the very bottom of the chalice itself.

These TwoSerpents are living—in that they are not static but vibrate andscintillate and ripple with energy—and the writhing of their bodieswithin the Ka activates an increase of magneticpotential.

There arespecific practices, which I will share at a later time, but what Iwish to address in this moment is the practice of the FourSerpents.

FIFTEEN(十五)


When Yeshua andI made love, as you call it, we caused our Serpents to rise up ourspines, up our Djed. We did this simultaneously, and at the momentof mutual orgasm the charge released from the first seals in thepelvic areas of our bodies was sent upward, into the Throne, whichis in the upper part of tht head—stimulating the higher braincenters.

At the sametime during this moment of sexual ecstasy we placed our awarenessfully within our Ka bodies, for the Ka is strengthened by ecstasy.Ecstatic states are nourishing and strengthening to the Ka body,and as I said earlier, with each strengthening of the Ka it becomesmore magnetic, drawing to the Initiate that which he or shedesires.

The SexualMagic of Isis has to do with the innate ability of the femininebeing to utilize magnetic energies to open deeper levels ofconsciousness through the act of surrendering to the sexualenergies and pathways that are opened.

When a woman isdeeply loved and appreciated, as was I by Yeshua, something lets goat the deepest levels of herself, and at the moment of orgasm thereis an uncontrollable shuddering that takes place. If she feels safeand allows this shaking, this quivering, to overtake her, there isa tremendous magnetic vortex that opens, the center of which is inher womb.

Two Initiatesengaged in the Sexual Magic of Isis can strengthen themselves andrapidly expand their consciousness through the power of thismagnetic field.

In the advancedpractices of the Sexual Magic of Isis the male Initiate causes bothof his Serpents to rise through the Ka body of the female and thefemale causes her Two Serpents to rise through the Ka body of themale. The explosive power of this practice is like the energyreleased by an atomic bomb. The massive tidal waves of magneticscan strengthen the Ka beyond imagination—or destroy it, if nothandled properly.

It was thisadvanced practice of the Ka that Yeshua engaged that night beforethe Garden of Gethsemane. For him this tremendous increase ofmagnetic potential within his Ka strengthened him for his hardshipsand for the task that faced him in his final Initiation through theportal of death; so that when his physical body dissolved into it'sconstituate elements it was done so in a flash of light andheat—that the church calls the Resurrection. But this was simply aneffect of something that was occurring much deeper within him. Itwas caused by the magnetics of his Ka body, for it was through hispotentized Ka that he journeyed through his underworld, throughdeath itself.

As Yeshua and Iengaged the Sexual Practices of Isis in our relationship we bothunderstood that this was the purpose.

For him eachunion with me was a means to strengthen his Ka. This is why I saidearlier that he came to my well, for the well that the womanInitiate offers to the male is an endless well of magneticpotential. But it is only opened when the female feels safe andloved. Only then will the practices work. For the practices withoutthe nurturance of love become just techniques and will not give theresult required or desired.

For me, I wasboth woman and Initiate. I had been trained for years and knew whatto do with the pathways, but I was surprised to find myself sweptaway as a woman.

I found myselfwaiting in deepest anticipation for a look or a touch by Yeshua,and our times together alone were the most precious times I hadever experienced. Something about his touch and his eyes一the feelof him—caused something within me to open, and I found myselfsometimes almost laughing at myself.

I, who had beentrained in the most secret practices of the Sex Magic of Isis andhad been judged by my Priestesses to be very advanced— thisInitiate — found herself, a mere beginner in the presence of thewoman.

And all of itis laid open by the touch of another!

SIXTEEN(十六)


The Sex Magicof Isis is based upon the realization that the feminine principalholds within her nature, specifically her sexual nature, analchemical key. This alchemical key is revealed in the act of whatyou call love一sexual love. When this is activated strongly enough,the Alchemies of Horus spontaneously presentthemselves.


伊希斯性魔法是基于以下的实现:就是女性主导者在其天性,尤其是她的性天性内保有一个炼金关键。这个炼金关键会在你们所称的爱——性爱中揭示。如果它被激活的足够强,荷鲁斯炼金术就会自发呈现它们自己。


Within mytraining it was understood that there were two paths, alchemicallyspeaking, to the same goal.

The Alchemiesof Horus were the foundation of both alchemies, or practices, sincethe same fundamental pathways were used. For those who did not wishto engage in partnership, the Alchemies of Horus would provide ameans to strengthen and activate the Ka body to the levels of HighInitiateship.


荷鲁斯炼金术是这两种炼金术,或练习的基础,因为使用的是同样的基本通道。对那些不想进入伴侣关系的人,荷鲁斯炼金术将提供一个方法增强和激活Ka体到一个高阶入门的层次。


For those inpartnership, the Sexual Magic of Isis would provide the wings bywhich they would ascend the Djed and enter the Throne of HighestConsciousness.

From my vantagepoint I see a great tragedy in that the secrets and the holiness ofour sexual natures was made evil by the Church一 by the ChurchFathers. And for nearly two thousand years now the most dynamic andone of the most rapid ways to God Realization has been madewrong.

And I find itindeed ironic that the Church has made it a sin —— and thereforeterrified those who might have stumbled upon it.

SEVENTEEN(十七)

While themiracles of Yeshua are considered extraordinary by many, they arefrom the standpoint of the Initiate, simply the expres-sions一thenatural expres-sions-—of the potential of consciousness. They are asign. There are reasons for miracles, and I wish to discuss thesefrom the standpoint of the Initiatory knowledge that Yeshua and Ipossessed.

虽然约书亚的神迹被很多人认为是神奇的,但从入门者的角度,这只不过是意识潜力的表达 ——自然表达而已。它们是一个信号。神迹是有原因的,而我想从约书亚和我所有的入门者知识角度谈谈它们。

By the time Imet Yeshua, he was already demonstrating the signs. His level ofcreation was very high.

My task was toassist him to strengthen his Ka body for his final Initiationthrough the death portal to the High God Horus. This wasaccomplished, as I have said, through the Sex Magic of Isis and theAlchemies of Horus.

Of all themiracles that I witnes-sed Yeshua perform, the one that is mostdear to me is that of the loaves and the fishes.

It was a verylong hot day. The disciples, Mary and myself were following theMaster as usual. A very large crowd formed, listening intently uponevery word from Yeshua s mouth. We were all enraptured by hisvision and his means of expres-sing.

It was as if, for several hours, we weretransported into heaven itself, and I noticed that Yeshua's Ka hadexpanded to include everyone —— another sign.

When he had completed his speaking it waslate in the afternoon and filled with compassion for them,realizing that their walk home would take some of them severaldays, he called upon food to be gathered andshared.So thedisciples, Mary and I, and a few others who joined us from thecrowd began to collect food. But when it was allgathered, there were only a few fishes and a few small loaves ofbread. Hardly enough.

It was then that I witnessed a mostremarkable event.

Yeshua went inside and closed his eyes. Icould feel the intent of his prayer, although I did not hear thewords. Running the full course of his Djed from the base of hisspine to the top of his head, I clairvoyantly saw a burst of lightflowing upwards through his crown, into his Ba, his Celestial Soul.And then an energy descended, as if in answer to his request; andhe placed his hands over the two small baskets and began to handout the loaves and fishes, breaking them into pieces and handingone to each person himself.

It was most remarkable; over a thousandpeople were fed and the loaves and fishes never exhaustedthemselves. After the crowd had been fed, Yeshua gave pieces to hisDisciples and to Mary and myself, and the bread had the most sweettaste and the fish a wonderful flavor I have never experiencedagain.

这太神奇了;超过一千人都有的吃,面包和鱼从未枯竭。在人群都分到后,约书亚又分给他的门徒还有玛利亚和我,面包和鱼都有着最美的味道,我后来再也没尝到过。

Such miracles are natural to a Master ofYeshua's caliber, and from the Initiatory standpoint, such miraclesare the potential of anyone if they practice what isrequired.

这样的神迹对于约书亚这般水准的大师来说是自然的,从入门者的角度,这样的神迹对每个人都是可能的如果他们进行了所需要的练习。


EIGHTEEN(十八)

Yeshua oftenused the phrase, "I and the Father are One." This has led to greatmisinterpretation. For from the Initiatory standpoint, it is simplyanother word for Spirit. And in these words Yeshua was indicatingthat he merged with his Spirit, and that is how the miracles wereaccomplished.

约书亚常说这句话,“我和圣父是一体的。”这引起了很大的误解。因为从入门者角度,这只是灵性的另一种说法。而在这句话中约书亚的意思是他已经和他的灵性融合在一起了,而神迹就是因此而实现的。

And so he wouldgo back and forth between two ideas, which the gospels report intheir own limited way.

On the onehand, Yeshua would sometimes say, “I and the Father are One.” Atother times he would say, “Without my Father, I can do nothing.”This is the oscillation that occurs with the Initiatory process inwhich the Initiate oscillates between the strength and convictionof his/her connection to the Spirit Source and then to the otherstate of mind, in which they realize that they are nothing and cando nothing without Spirit.

一方面,约书亚有时会说,“我和圣父是一体的。”另外一些时候他会说,“没有我的圣父,我什么也做不了。”这是在入门过程中入门者会发生的摇摆,入门者摇摆于他/她和灵性源头连接的力量和信仰,和另一种思想状态之间,在其中他们意识到如果没有灵性他们什么也不是,什么也做不了。

So the onestate of mind has a feeling of omnipotence. And the other state ofmind has the feeling of impotence. And the Initiate must passbetween these two. That Yeshua used these phrases several timesindicated to me, as a fellow Initiate, that he was in the middle ofthis paradox.

所以一种思想状态有着全能的感觉。而另一种思想状态却会感到无能。而入门者必须穿过这两种状态。约书亚几次用这些话向我示意,作为一个入门者,他正处在这个悖论的中间。

And he livedwith this paradox in consciousness until the Garden of Gethsemane.For it was before his time in the Garden, as reported by hisDisciples, that he came to me and we practiced the Four Serpentsfor the last time. There was an intensity in our time together, forwe both knew that the time was near at hand.

而这个意识上的悖论一直伴随着他直到客西马尼花园(受难地)。就在他来到花园之前,如他的门徒所说的,他来到我这儿我们最后一次习练了四蛇。我们在一起的时间很强烈,因为我们都知道那个时间临近了。

With theexplosive force released with the practice, Yeshua's Ka bodyscintillated with power and conviction, which he took with him intothe final hours of his life, fortifying him for his journey throughdeath. But the times before were often spent —— I search for theright words —— in a kind of self-questioning.

随着练习释放的爆炸力量,约书亚的Ka体闪耀着力量和信心,他带着它们走过了他人生的最后时刻,为他穿越死亡的旅途强化自身。但在这之前的时间却常常是在——我在找合适的词语,一种自我疑问中。

Those whofollowed Yeshua, who call themselves Christians, like to think thathe was surefooted and always clear about his purpose and missionand that he never wavered. But I, who spent the nights with him,tell you otherwise.

Just because abeing has attained a level of mastery does not mean that they areable to pass through uncertainty—untouched.

Yeshua felt thepressure of his Celestial Soul, but it is an odd thing being anInitiate. For one is human with all that goes with it —— and one isincreasingly connected to, and a part of, one’s CelestialSoul.

约书亚感到了他天魂的压力,但作为入门者是一个奇怪的事情。因为一边是凡夫俗事——而另一边则是和自己天魂不断增加的连接,和成为它的一部分。

It is the Ba,the Celestial Soul, that is the voice of God speaking. The highInitiate acts like a reflex from the mouth of God, but just becausethe Celestial Soul is clear does not mean that the human isnecessarily so.

Ba,天魂,是神说话的声音。高级入门者就像是来自神口中的回声,但天魂是清楚的并不意味着这个人就一定也是。

Yeshua saw inothers the potential for God-Realization, and he spoke to thisseveral times. One of these was mentioned in the Gospels when hesaid, “you shall do greater things than me.” For he understood thatmiracles are a natural expres-sion of consciousness, and that asthe consciousness of mankind expanded, miracles would becommonplace.

约书亚在别人身上看到了神之觉悟的可能,而他好几次说过这个。其中一次在福音书中有记载,他说,“你们会做出更伟大的事情。”因为他了解奇迹只是意识的一个自然表达,而随着人类意识的扩展,奇迹将会变得普及。

And yet at thesame time he was very aware of the limitations of those aroundhim—of their addiction to hatred, ignorance and bigotry—and thistroubled him deeply. We spent many evenings talking about this. Anduntil a few days before Gethsemane, he was not sure if he couldattain what was required to pass through the finalInitiation.

然而同时他也非常清楚他周围的人所受到的限制——他们沉溺于仇恨、无知和固执中,而这让他深受困扰。我们花了很多夜晚讨论这个。且直到客西马尼的前几天,他还不确定他能否获得通过最后的入门所需要的东西。

I do not knowthe reason for the change in him, but a few days before the Gardenand Our final Initiatory act together through the Four Serpents, adeep sense of peace came over him and he was sure in a way I hadnever seen him.

NINETEEN(十九)

I stand in timenearly two thousand years after Yeshua’s crucifixion, and still Ishake at the thought of that. It was very strange to be both theInitiate and the Woman.

我站在约书亚受难之后约两千年的时间中,而想起这个我依然会颤抖。同时身为入门者和女人是非常奇怪的。

As theInitiate, I stood by Yeshua through the crucifixion holding my Kain fervent prayer—which is another way of saying I held steadfastin my intention to be there for him as he passed into death. Thiswas an Initiatory action on my part that requireddetachment.

I wish now toreveal some of the secrets of the Sex Magic of Isis.

As I saidearlier, it is possible to scale the heights of consciousnessalone, without partnership; and in this, the Alchemies of Horuswere designed to assist the Initiate.

The first ofthese is the understanding that at the moment of orgasm, magneticfields are generated. As the energetic essence ofhis sperm strikes the walls of her inner sanctum there is anexplosion of magnetic energy —— worlds within worlds, spinning. Andto the extent that the male Initiate has attained a high status aswell as the female, the magnetics released from such contactbetween such sexual fluids can be enormous. So it is important tounderstand that this creates complex magnetics that both the maleand female can draw into their bodies.

Thisis the fundamental or basic understanding.

In the trainingof both the Sex Magic of Isis and the Alchemies of Horus, Initiateswould be trained in the basic exercises of the TwoSerpents.

In thispractice, the Initiate alone generates energy through the power ofRA, or the internal fire, to create an elevation in awareness —— tocreate complex magnetic fields within his or her own body—and thento bring these into the Ka.

I wish to sharethis method. It is the core practice for both those who wish to dothis work alone, and for those who wish to do this work inpartnership.The fundamental practicerequires that the Initiate sit upright, breathing in a rhythmic,calm manner.Then the Initiate becomesaware of the base of the spine, and on the breaths draws the BlackSerpent rising from the left and the Gold Serpent rising from theright, up the spine.

But in this practice, the Two Serpents are brought up tothe center of the head, to the vicinity of the pinealgland.The Initiate then, usingthe power of the breath, sends the energy of the inhales into theSerpents and then with the exhales sends the energy of the breathdeeper into the serpentine bodies, causing them to become “alive,”so to speak.

From the right side ofthe crown another liquid-like energy moves down into the Chalice,called the White Serpentine Drops. It is the heat and light of theinternal RA that causes the crown to secrete thesesubstances.

As the two mix together several things can occur.There can be the sensation of a sweet taste in the back of thethroat —— what the yogis and yoginis call Amrita —— but which we inthe Isis Cult refer to as the Spring Waters, for they seem to comefrom the spring within the head.

Again, if they focus uponthis light, a kind of ecstasy arises.Sometimes as the Red andWhite Serpentine Drops mix, there is a spontaneous arising ofecstasy. This ecstasy, no matter what caused it, is crucial to thisalchemy. For ecstasy is food and nourishment to the Kabody.

This causes theecstasy to spread throughout the entire physical body, Khat, and isthen absorbed by the Ka, strengthening and revitalizingit.

In a very realsense, the male Initiate faces the greatest challenges in thepractice of the Sex Magic of Isis, for it requires that heseemingly go against his own nature. By nature the male is electricfrom an alchemical standpoint, while the female ismagnetic.It is the nature ofelectricity to move and to act, while it is the nature of magneticsto nest—enfold.

In thepractice, the focus becomes the strengthening of the Ka bodythrough the incorporation of magnetic fields released by the sexact. Right after orgasm, the magnetic fields generated by thefemale Initiate continue to unspiral and circulate. This is a timeto rest and be with the magnetics, but by nature males tend toeither get up and do something, or go to sleep.

But for the femaleInitiate, especially one who has been able to relax into theexperience, the orgasm spreads through the entire body and cancontinue in various levels of intensity for severalhours.

One of thetasks for the male Initiate is to sensitize himself to new levelsof feeling, so that he can incorporate the magnetic fields releasedthrough sex into his own body and Ka.

I would like tospeak to the term magic at this time.The reason the term magicis used refers to the transformation of the individual human into aGod. This is indeed magic. It is symbolized by the God Horus, partman, part hawk, and through the practices of alchemy, is raised tothe status of the High God Horus, meaning that one has attained themost elevated states of consciousness.

The otherreason the term magic is used is that there are methods, once theKa body is potentized, that one can use to affect one's reality invery direct ways in methods that seem magical. Take, for instance,the basic core practices of the Alchemies of Horus —— the raisingof the Black and Gold Serpents up the spine, the creation of theChalice, the activation of the internal fire of RA, and the meetingof the Red and White Serpentine Drops —— are all acts of magic,acts of intent and both personal and spiritual will. This is why itis referred to as magic.

Returning tothe paradox facing the male Initiate, we find that his nature worksagainst him to a certain extent in these practices, specificallythe Sex Magic. For once a male Initiate’s Ka is charged, he, bynature, wants to act, to do something. Yet if he can disciplinehimself, train himself to continue lying with his Beloved, he cannest himself in the rich magnetics created through their love,their sex, and strengthen the Ka to a greater extent.

There isanother aspect facing the male Initiate in this process, and it hasto do with what we in the temples refer to as Obstacles To Flight,but which in your language is best stated as “psychologicalissues.” The term Obstacles To Flight refers to hindrances to theunfolding of one’s Horns nature, the aspect specifically that canfly upward into elevated states of consciousness.

在这个过程中男性入门者还面对着另外一个方面的问题,而这和我们在神庙中所说的飞翔的障碍有关,但用你们的话来说称之为“心理问题”最恰当。飞翔的障碍这个术语指的是,一个人独角兽天性施展的障碍,确切的就是指能向上飞入更高意识状态这方面的天性。

There areattitudes, beliefs and emotional habits that are counter-productiveto flight, or the elevation to consciousness, which is what werefer to when we say Obstacles To Flight. It is here for the maleInitiate that one of the most intricate passages, requiring greatskill, occurs.

有很多心态,信仰和情绪习惯都会阻碍飞翔,或意识的提升,这就是我们所说的飞翔的障碍。对男性入门者来说就是在这里有一条最错综复杂的通道关卡,需要很高的技艺才能通过。

As a child, themale was carried by his mother in her womb and protected andnurtured by his mother in his infancy, until a point where he hadautonomy and could act for himself. At this point the male childpushes the mother away, so to speak, in order to face theworld.

It is at thisjuncture in his development that he may feel confined or limited byhis mother, and a battle of wills can ensue. As a man, as a maleInitiate, he may still carry these emotional habits within him. Ifthis is the case, he will find it difficult to relax into thenesting of the magnetic fields, since at a psychological level, itis experienced as surrendering to the feminine.

If the maleInitiate has issues with his mother of childhood, he may engagethese consciously or unconsciously with his partner.

TWENTY-FIVE(二十五)

It is importantfor both Initiates undertaking the Sex Magic of Isis to realizethat they are embarking on a long journey and that the process isessentially one of alchemy. The purpose of alchemy is to transformone substance into another. It does this by burning off the dross,or the negativity of a substance, so that the pure substanceremains or is created.

By nature, theSex Magic of Isis steps up the alchemical process. The heat getsturned up, so to speak, the dross becomes clear, that which needsto be purified comes painfully into focus.

If one does notunderstand that this is one of the byproducts of alchemy, one mightbe disturbed by the arising of difficult psychological material.But actually this is one of the results, for the internal pressurecreated through the intense alchemy generated through the Sex Magicof Isis causes the Ka body to extrude, or press out of itself allimpurities and to clear itself of all Obstacles ToFlight.

This is thebasic understanding required for the practice of the Sex Magic ofIsis. In the previous pages I have revealed to you the secrets ofthe ages, one of the most closely guarded secrets of the Temples ofIsis.

Understandingof these practices was reserved for the most advancedstudents.

Whether onepractices the solitary path through the Alchemies of Horus or thepath of Sacred Relationship through the Sex Magic of Isis, one isstepping upon the road to Godhood.

The central keyin this journey is the strengthening of the Ka through ecstaticstates of consciousness. Whether self-generated or created throughthe ecstasy of sex does not inherently matter; the Ka is nurturedand potentized by ecstatic states, regardless of theirsource.

On thecontrary, shame is a poison to the Ka body, a toxic element thatdecreases its vitality and potency.

I, an Initiateof Isis, find it tragic that the Church has shamed women and menaround their sexual natures and closed a door on one of the mostdirect paths to God-Realization. Whatever you do along this path,my advice is to free yourself of all shame.

Alchemy - theart and science of changing one form into another. Inner alchemy(like the Egyptian system) transforms the energy of consciousnessand the life-force of embodiment into expanded awareness, impartingenhanced abilities to the practitioner.

炼金术(Alchemy)-转变形式的艺术和科学。内在炼金术(如埃及系统的)转化形身的意识能量和生命力为扩展的觉知,赋予习练者增强的能力。


Djed - thesacred pathway of the chakras. The djed runs from the base of thespine to the top of the head (the crown chakra). This is thecentral pathway for the process of Ascension in Egyptianalchemy.

捷德柱(Djed) -脉轮中的神圣通道。捷德柱从脊柱底端一直通到头顶(冠轮)。而这是埃及炼金术中扬升过程的中央通道。


Ammit - amythical creature related to the djed or sacred pathway of thechakras. Part crocodile, part lion and part hippopotamus, the ammitis often represented with a depiction of the djed. It sits with itsreptilian snout tucked between the third (power) and fourth (love)chakras.

Sekhem -life-force. It means "that which makes things erect." In theprocess of Egyptian alchemy, one's sekhem or life-force, isstrengthened in order to be transformed into expanded awareness. Itis the power of sekhem that raises the djed generating the power toascend the ladder of the chakras into illumination. This highlypotentized life-force is also used in specific alchemical processesto generate the powers of consciousness (see 神通).

Ka - a subtleenergy body described in Egyptian alchemy. The Ka is an energeticduplicate of the physical body and is sometimes referred to as theetheric double or spiritual twin. Much of the focus of Egyptianalchemy is on the transformation of the Ka body.

Khat - thedense physical body of flesh and blood.

Ascension - theprocess of raising the life-force (sekhem) up the djed into thehigher brain centers, thereby activating the powers ofconsciousness (siddhis) and giving the practitioner access to thespiritual realms of being. The term also applies to the ascensionof the Ka body into higher realms of energy and light.

BA - thecelestial soul.

Ida - a yogicterm referring to a subtle pathway up the left side of the spine.Also known as the lunar or Chandra circuit, the ida runs from thebase chakra up into the head and ends at the tip of the leftnostril (see Black Serpent).

Ida(艾达)-一个指代从脊柱左侧爬升的精微通道的瑜伽术语。也被称作月亮或月神线路,ida从底轮爬升到头部并终结于左鼻孔尖端(见大黑蛇)。


Black Serpent -a term used by the Magdalen to describe the lunar pathway up thespine (see ida). The Black Serpent embodies the feminine mystery ofcreation and is related to the Void, the source from which allthings are created.

Horus - the sonof Isis and Osiris. Symbolically, Horus refers to the joining ofspirit (Osiris) and matter (Isis). His story is allegorical in thesense that his journey is the same as ours as we rise up the djedto expanded states of consciousness.

Isis - themother of Horus and one of the most prominent deities of theEgyptian pantheon. She was considered to be the Cosmic Mother, andher cult spread through most of the known ancientworld.

Incarnate - apriestess within the Isis cult who has been trained to embody theenergies of Isis.

Initiate - onewho has passed through a portal or threshold between one level ofconsciousness to the next. Generally speaking, an Initiate has beentrained in a sacred science and has been given access to thespiritual lineage responsible for that sacred science.

Kundalini yoga- a form of yoga that focuses on the movement of kundalini shakti,a form of energy very much related to sekhem, up the spine. As thekundalini shakti makes its ascent up the spine, the various chakrasare activated giving the yogi or yogini mastery in those planes ofconsciousness.

Maat - anEgyptian deity associated with the Land of the Dead, Maat holds ascale weighted on one side with a feather. On the other side of thescale is the heart of the person seeking entrance into spiritualparadise. If the heart is weighted by shame and regrets it will tipthe scale and the person must wander the Underworld. If the heartis light as a feather, the person is granted entrance into thesublime realms of spirit.

Neter - theseare subtle powers. There are 26 neters in classic Egyptian alchemy,but the term can also be applied to anything that has energy orpower. Thus the term can be related to the concept of shakti orenergy in yoga.

Pineal gland -a gland sitting roughly in the center of the head. Its function isnot fully understood by western science though, esoterically, it isviewed as holding keys to higher states ofconsciousncss.

Pranic tube -the pranic tube can be viewed as the center line of force withinthe magnetic field of the body. All bipolar magnets, including ourbodies, have a north and south pole. These two poles are generatedaround an axis, like the axis of the earth which is also a bipolarmagnet. Within the physical body, this axis runs from the crowndown to the perineum and sits in front of the spine (see djed,central column, central pillar).

RA - theEgyptian sun god. From an alchemical understanding, anything thatis fire is a power of RA. Within the Ka body, there is an energycenter or chakra that is fiery in nature known as the solar plexus.A good deal of Egyptian alchemy deals with RA in its many forms asa source of energy to drive alchemical reactions within theKa.

In thedeepest forms of samadhi, perceived time comes to a standstill.There is no sense of it, and there is no sense of the world.Awareness becomes aware of itself, and from this deep innerrecognition of the Self there is a spontaneous arising ofbliss.

三昧(Samadhi)-一个通过静定得到的内观瑜伽状态。在三昧中,意识从外在感知转入内在世界。有很多不同的三昧,从光内观到深刻改变了的意识状态。在最深的三昧中,时间感知停止了。没有对它的感知,也没有对世界的感知。意识变成了对其自身的觉察,而从这个对自我的深入内在认识中会有自发的极乐升起。


Set - thebrother and murderer of Osiris,Horns’ father. It is Set that Horusmust overcome in the Osirian myths.

Sex Magic - theuse of sex in relationship to magic has a long history that spansmany thousands of years and numerous cultures and spirituallineages. The Sex Magic of Isis, however, is not viewed in the samemanner as magic in general. Rather than trying to affect theoutside world through magical transformations, the Sex Magic ofIsis focuses on the magical transformation of consciousness itself.Thus it is really a form of internal alchemy, an alchemy that drawsupon the most primal and potent energies available to embodiedbeings.

Siddhis - yogicpowers. These powers of consciousness cover a wide range ofnon-ordinary abilities. They include such things as clairvoyance(inner seeing), clairaudience (inner hearing), clairsentience(inner feeling), and clairgno-sis (knowing something withoutknowing how you know it). These abilities also include the capacityto heal and limited powers of prophecy. The siddhis also includesuch truly unusual abilities such as bi-location (being in twoplaces at once), teleportation (instantly transporting oneself overgreat distances), and levitation (floating in air). These powers ofconsciousness have been well documented in many of the worldsreligious and alchemical traditions, including Buddhism,Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and Taoism. In addition,many indigenous peoples report that their shamans also exhibit manyof these abilities.

Tantra - a termreferring to energy practices. The term is sometimes used inBuddhism, for instance, to refer to the energy practices ofconsciousness itself. However, the term can also be used for theenergy practices of sexuality- This form of Tantra is based on theuse of sexual energy for the elevation of consciousness and hasmany forms throughout the world.

Uraeus -sometimes referred to as “the anointing,” the uraeus occurs whensekhem (life-force) is brought up the djed and into the brain. Thismovement creates a snake-like energy form,which may be why theuraeus was represented as a serpent by the ancientEgyptians.

Red SerpentineDrops - a subtle energetic substance emitted from the crown that isrelated to the attributes of one's physical mother. These drops aregenerated from an alchemical meditation, given in the Manuscriptusing the Black and Gold Serpents. Interestingly, this practice issimilar in many regards to a practice in Tibetan Vajrayana yogausing what are called the red and white drops. In this Tibetanpractice, the drops are also used to generate bliss, but then thepractitioner rests in this bliss while contemplating the emptynature or emptiness of all things. In the Alchemy of Horus,however, the end goal is different. While the joining of the dropsalso produces bliss, this bliss is then sent into the Ka body forthe purpose of strengthening it. According to the Magdalen,ecstatic states of consciousness strengthen the Ka.
