一、教授简介:

威廉·H·格林 教授，纽约大学斯特恩商学院Robert Stansky教授、悉尼大学荣誉教授、美国经济学会会员、Journal of Productivity Analysis、Foundations and Trends in Econometrics等期刊主编、谢菲尔德大学国际顾问、约克大学校外导师、曾担任牛津大学、乔治城大学等多所大学的客座教授、谷歌学者（总引用率达79202，在所有经济学者中排名第9位）。讲授课程：计量经济学、统计与数据分析、数理统计、微观经济学等，研究领域包括：计量经济学的理论和应用、医疗健康、效率分析等。曾在American Economic Review、Journal of Political Economy、Econometrica等国际顶级学术期刊上发表论文数十篇，出版《应用计量经济学》、《计量经济分析》（谷歌学术引用率排名第34位）等专著十余部，开发LIMDEP、NLOGIT、ET等计量经济学软件。

二、课程简介：

在本次为期三天的课程中，William H. Greene教授将总结微观计量中使用线性回归和离散选择的技巧。这些模型和方法是对个体行为进行建模的必要工具，广泛应用于所有的社会科学、健康经济学、医疗研究、市场研究、环境和能源经济学、交通研究以及其他学科。课程第一天首先对回归模型的相关概念进行简要回顾，然后转向介绍离散选择建模中的基础模型——二元选择模型，将会涉及估计方法、统计推断以及模型分析。第二天，将在前一天基础上讨论一些拓展性问题，如：偏效应、内生性等。之后，再介绍多方程二元选择模型、有序选择模型、计数模型。第三天将用于介绍多项选择模型的应用，如：市场营销中的品牌选择问题、交通领域的运输模型选择问题以及其他在社会和行为科学领域的大量应用。最后，将讨论一些相关的理论模型，并介绍其在医疗健康、环境交通等领域的若干应用。本次课程的背景资料、文章、数据以及其他有用的资源可以通过如下链接找到：
