　　新华网北京10月12日电(记者明金维)瑞典皇家科学院12日宣布，将2009年诺贝尔经济学奖授予埃莉诺·奥斯特罗姆和奥利弗·威廉森。两人均为美国经济学家，其中奥斯特罗姆是历史上第一个获得诺贝尔经济学奖的女性。

　　奥斯特罗姆1933年出生，她1965年获美国加州大学伯克利分校政治学博士学位，1991年当选美国艺术与科学院院士，2001年当选美国国家科学院院士，她曾在众多美国学术协会和顾问委员会担任职务。目前，奥斯特罗姆为美国印第安纳大学政治学以及公共和环境事务学教授，也是该校“政治理论和政策分析”研讨会共同主管。

　　奥斯特罗姆的主要研究方向包括：如何利用认识科学中的研究成果建立可行的模型，以探讨和解释人类在不同制度安排下的选择问题；各种制度如何产生帮助个体进行决策的信息；在不同方式的集体决策过程中存在哪些偏差和调整；在各种制度架构中的互动过程里，不同的偏好是如何被放大和修正的。

　　奥斯特罗姆的代表作是1990年出版的《公共事务的治理之道：集体行动制度的演进》，此书中译本由上海三联出版社2000年出版，是制度经济学和公共政策研究领域里的重要著作。奥斯特罗姆曾多次访问中国。

正在阅读其著作，她是着手解决问题的经济学家，而不是作理论秀者。
