It all starts somewhere. You pack your suitcase, you say goodbye, you forget at least 3 things that are important, and you get on a plane... to fly away from what you have known as home your whole life. For me, Barcelona would be what I called home for the next 6 months. Confidence, independence, and becoming who I really am, are the 3 aspects I have noticed myself really grow in! I will cherish all the amazing experience I’ve had! It shaped part of my character and changed my view on life. I had the best time of my life in Spain.
Time flies, the exchange program came to an end. Although I have returned to normal busy life, but all the things happened in Barcelona will have an important impact on my life trajectory constantly. My exchange has been an incredible experience for me. I have increased my understanding of another culture and gained so much knowledge about Spain and the world. I am so much more aware of the world now, and when I get back, I can't wait to pass on all of my new knowledge. Being put outside of your comfort zone is a scary thing, but I've realized now that really it is just an opportunity to try new things. Everything has been absolutely wonderful till now, and I will cherish this special period forever.
