These changes in the Chinese top official medias are welcome and should be encouraged.
However, all reports must do some basic analysis and checks to ensure the accuracy of reports. Some of the numbers quoted from the People's Daily are unlikely to be correct or at least highly misleading: "而在中央经济工作会议前夕，《人民日报》本月3日发表一组文章，批评劳资分配不均，利润侵蚀工资。文章披露，在发达国家，工资一般会占企业运营成本50%左右，而在中国则不到10%。"
Just 10%? It does not pass the reality or common sense test. That surely can't be right. For what 企业? The average is likely to be higher than that.
