We can find most of the materials in China. But I think English version will help understanding.
To finish reading all the stuffs in 10 weeks is really stressful but helpful.
The course is harder than the MBA level. Prof, claims the course is intermediate. But I think it ismore like a introductory level course.

I have not taken finance class in China before so that I can not give a specific comparison.
