【北京全职】恩比理投资DD Analyst Team增加招聘4名Due Diligence Analyst

Introduction and Job Specification of the Due Diligence Analyst (DD) Position:
We are building a new team of 3 highly qualified Entry-level Hedge Fund Due diligence analyst at our Beijing Office – to immediately assume the project of fund information collection, processing and database construction – for a selected group of hedge fund within the investment universe of over 20,000 hedge funds around the world. Due Diligence Analyst role is a long term position and form a core and most basic function of a fund of fund.
Senior Due Diligence Analyst conduct on-site manager due diligence with the Chief Investment Officer.
The Due Diligence Analyst Position also provides a logical career path progression towards the firm’s Investment Analyst Position, Assistant Portfolio Manager Position, Investor Relations and Business Development position.
Compensation Arrangement:
A substantial reading and training material on hedge fund industry and due diligence will be required for candidate to be study in 2 weeks, and a competency test will be administered before position can be assumed.
Income before tax range from 4000 – 5000 evaluated on the basis of objective interview and examination assessments.
Individual Performance Bonus up to 2000 and Team Milestone Achievement award applies. A Hedge Fund Administration Training Program will be provided upon successful collection of hedge fund database. Career Progress towards Senior Due Diligence Analyst is encouraged within 2 years.

Fund Due Diligence Information Collection:
Hedge Fund Due Diligence Analyst’s key responsibility is to initiate contact, request fund investment information and maintain high professional standard correspondence with selected hedge funds with in universe of 20,000 hedge funds around the world.
Conduct Due Diligence Conference call with investment candidate fund and their third-party references to request key information required in data collection.
Hedge Fund Documentation Processing, Information Extract, and Database building are procedural and textual information intense – it requires high level English comprehension proficiency.
Analyst are required to learn industry-specific terminologies and learn to recognize, interpret and extract significant due diligence relevant quantitative and qualitative information information within a substantial volume of textual information of a set of hedge fund documentations – and make database entry into variables input in a fund database.
Analyst is expected to parameterized new quantitative and qualitative variables base on new categories of information presented in a diverse group hedge fund in different strategies.
Due Diligence Analyst are expected to perform Hedge Fund database entry maintenance, where information extraction from hedge fund documentation is entered into hedge fund database – and monthly performance updates are required, collection of fund investor newsletters, fund news information, as well as strategy industry information and data mine quantitative and qualitative factors that impacts the investment opportunity sets of particular hedge fund strategies.

a. A Graduated, Experienced candidate, person who have not yet committed to an employment opportunity, or 2010 undergraduates or postgraduates.
a. Base due diligence’s key responsibilities, the following academic majors will provide skill sets that are preferred in the Due Diligence Team
Database and Information Management: (Formatting, Encoding, Parameterizing, organizing large amount of data, managing an excel base database with VBA and Macros experience/skill sets)
Law (Ability to read Investment Prospectus，Understand and study the implications of investment provision, knowledge of International investment Regulatory Law)
Finance and Accounting (Return computation, Skills and knowledge in Auditing financial statements, Calculating NAV) but all highly qualified and interested applicants in other disciplines are welcome to submit an application
b. English Proficiency (ability to learn a set of vocabularies), Oral English competency is required.
CET-6 is necessary. Hedge Fund Documentation Processing, Information Extract, and Database building are procedural and textual information intense – it requires high level English comprehension proficiency.
c. Strong English written and correspondence skills – to be able to communicate and maintain a high standard of professional correspondence and interaction with hedge fund investor relations officers and conduct due diligence call
d. Technical requirements – Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint are key proficiency requirement.
e. Personality preference:
High ethical standard is a key attribution with a strong sense of responsibility.
Proactive problem solving skills, independent thinking and learning ability. Curious towards learning, Solicitous and attentive to details.
Persistent with strong work ethics and able to work consistently and persistently to achieve results with team player mindset.
