Lyx is good for beginner; it gets cumbersome when you know LaTeX well and use it a lot.

I admit that LyX may not be as flexible as LaTeX in general. But if we only care our contents, rather keep doing the formatting of the paper. I think LyX would be very good enough.

Spending more time on our contents and less time on the format, we can write a better paper. When the paper is accepted for publication, someone will do the formatting work for you, right?
