关手机”不是close the phone，“打电话”不是call the phone！



【导读】没想到，如今这个社会，手机与人如影随形了。手机还被誉为“人体的第二器官”，我相信，现在你一刻不碰手机，都会感到不安。看看微信到底有没有新消息，看看朋友圈发了什么。手机对我们来说，太重要了。今天我就为大家来普及下关于手机的口语表达吧。

1、打开手机/关闭手机

Open/Close your phone?

班长笔记：

电子设备或家电用品，开关都不能用open / close, 而应该用turn/switch这两个词。开关门才用open/close the door。

Turn on/off

Switch on/off

例句：

1、Don’t forget to switch/turn off the TV before you go.

离开之前，别忘记关掉电视。

2、He switched/turned the torch on.他打开了手电筒。

注意switch还可以作名词，表示“开关”。

英文解释是 a piece of equipment that starts or stops the flow of electricity to a machine, light etc when you push it 一种设备，当你按它时，它可以启动或停止向机器、灯光等提供电流。

例句：Where’s the light switch ? 电灯开关在哪儿？

固定搭配：press/flick/throw a switch 按开关。

2、给我打电话

call my phone

班长笔记：这个短语不能直译，而直接用call sb.这个搭配。phone除了作名词“电话”的意思，还可以作动词“打电话”之意。

call me

phone me

give me a call

例句：

1、Could you call me at 10 o'clock this evening? 你能今晚10点打电话给我吗？

2、Phone me if you are in the office. 如果你在办公室的话，打电话给我哦。

3、Please give me a call when you are free. 请在你有空时给我打个电话吧。

3、接电话

Receive the phone

班长笔记：receive 更多是指礼物或东西的接受，如receive a parcel(接受包裹)；而“接电话”则需要用固定的动词，如answer/ get/ have/ take等词。

☞ get/have a call 接到电话

例句：At 11 in the evening we got a call from the police. 晚上11点钟，我们接到警方打来的电话。

☞ answer a call 接听电话

例句：We’re sorry that we cannot answer your call right now. 对不起，我们现在无法接听您的来电。

☞ take a call(=answer one) 接听电话

例句：Monica took the call upstairs. 莫妮卡在楼上接了电话。

4、手机快没电

My phone has no electricity.

班长笔记：手机的“电”我们会用power，而不是electricity。“电池"用battery。

手机快没电了，表示手机还有电，但是在慢慢损耗，所以是一个正在进行的过程，所以要用正在进行时态。而no power表示“没电了”。

☞ My phone's dying.

例句：What should I do? My phone's dying now. 我应该怎么做呢？现在，我的手机快没电了。

☞ My phone's almost out of juice.

班长笔记：out of juice表示电子设备没电了。因为还有一点电，所以加一个almost（几乎）。

☞ My phone's battery is next to flat.

班长笔记：这个表达是英式的。我手机的电池快没了。电池没电别用empty哦，而是用flat。next to接近。

5、挂电话

hang the phone

班长笔记：hang是“挂”的意思，但是后面必须加一个介词up，才表示“挂断电话”。

hang up the phone

put the phone down

例句：

1、My mom hung up my phone. 我妈挂了我的电话。（hang的过去式是hung）

2、I only remembered his name after I had put the phone down. 我挂上电话后只记得他的名字。
