      2020年第二天，开始拜读Ruey S. Tsay的Analysis of Financial Time Series，也是从论坛中取得的资料，把自己的读书历程记录下来。每天时间有限，花一个小时的时间，边读边记录，想到什么就写什么，进度可能会比较慢，也可能有错误。

      Financialtimeseries(FTS) analysis is concerned with theory and practice of asset valuation overtime.
      关注于资产价格的理论和实践
      FTS must deal with the ever-changing business & economic environment.
      ever-changing不断变化，千变万化的
      High kurtosis implies heavy( or long) tails in distribution
      高峰度（指高于3）暗示了厚尾或者长尾的分布形态。
      金融时间序列实例：

      1.Daily log returns of Applestock:2000-2009
      每日苹果股票的对数收益率，服从正态分布，收益率服从对数正态分布
      2.The VIX index
      芝加哥期权交易所的恐慌指数
      3.Quarterly earnings of Coca-Cola Company:1983-2009
      可口可乐公司1983-2009年的季度收益数据
      Seasonal time series useful in
      •earning forecasts盈利预测
      •pricing weather related derivatives(e.g.energy)定价与天气相关的衍生品
      •modeling intraday behavior of asset returns对日内（一天之内）的资产收益行为建模。
      4.US monthly interest rates (3m & 6mTreasury bills)
      美国每月的利率（3个月和6个月的美国债券）
      Relations between the two series? Term structure of interest rates
     两个时间序列之间的关系，利率的期限结构。
      5.Exchange rate between US Dollar vs Euro
     美元与欧元的外汇牌价
     Fixed income,hedging,carry trade

      6.Size of insurance claims
      保险索赔的规模
     Values of fire insurance claims (×1000 Krone) that exceeded 500 from 1972 to 1992.
