In a few simple words this is an excellent piece of work. It introduces the reader the basic and advanced concepts of numerical methods using Matlab. None of the texts I have read so far have been so consistent with ther explanations. The fact that algorithms are supported by Matlab programs make this book distinct.

For those people who are new into Matlab and Numerical Methods will be of great help.
