Where are you?

As I know, many banks, investment and Financial groups need SAS, such as city, discover etc.   If you are good at Time series , SAS ,and having certificates of CFA level 1-2, FRM  and in C++, you'll have good chance to plug in.

Browse their website, post your resume, they may call you for interview.

My friends in city bank of NY do modeling, he used c++. His department use Java or C++, SAS. As I know , some banks use R to test model although they run their data on SAS. It depends your job.

I have no idea about job in China.

In north America, marketing needs data mining to explore data pattern. Some CS guys with good knowledge of SQL also take this kind of job.
