Latin American countries are enjoying growing prosperity as the region develops ever-stonger ties with Asia.
Two sides found each other a big market other than traditional developed regions like North America and West Europe. The so called "South to South" trade was more promoted and developed since the global crisis triggered by subprime mortgage spreaded. Leading by China, Asian countries like South Korea, Japan signed FTA(Free Trade Agreement) with Latin American countries one after the other.
Asia not only plays a role as a huge markets for Latin America's raw mertiaral and consumer products but also invests directly in the region. On the other hand, Latin Ametica is perceived as a new frontier to distribute and sell products by more and more asian companies. The region is now a back-entry to north America as well as a target market.
The growing ties between Latin America and Asia are thought to be a tendency even as the developed ecnonomies recover.
