Career Opportunities and Starting Salaries
Missouri S&T has the largest career fair in the Midwest of America.  Our students receive great offers from top companies such as Accenture, Apple, Boeing, Citibank, Deloitte, Facebook, Google, IBM, Monsanto, Walmart, etc.  Missouri S&T is one of the few universities that has a higher average starting salary than Harvard! For our MS IST students, the average starting salary is $ 71,360.
Funding
Our students have many opportunities to work with BIT faculty and in labs either as Graduate Research or as Grading Assistants.  This working experience and close interaction with faculty provide a distinct competitive advantage in the job market.  We encourage you to explore these opportunities with the faculty when you are in S&T.
Test Scores
The minimum requirements for MS IST are TOEFL-88/IELTS-6.5; GRE (V)-144; GRE (Q)-148; GRE A(W)-3.5
