马里兰州AICPA报考州之一，要报考该州考试，需要满足以下基本教育要求：

applicants must satisfactorily complete 120 semester hours or 180 undergraduate quarter hours or the equivalent. Thirty (30) semester hours or 45 quarter credit hours in Group I, which requires 27 semester or 41 quarter credit hours, must be in accounting and related subjects, and three semester credit hours or 4.5 quarter credit hours must be in ethics. An applicant must have received baccalaureate or higher degree that meets the following requirement: a major in accounting on the baccalaureate level, or its substantial equivalent, from an institution that is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business or the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, is accredited by or is a constituent of an institution accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools or the equivalent regional accrediting association for other regional areas, or is recognized and approved by the Board.

GROUP I - Accounting and Ethics Education

An applicant must have successfully completed 30 undergraduate semester hours or 45 undergraduate quarter hours in accounting and ethics subject matter. Applicants must have completed the following: one three semester credit hour course or a four and one half (4.5) quarter hour course each in; auditing, cost accounting or managerial accounting, U.S. federal income tax and ethics; a minimum of nine semester or 13.5 quarter hour credits in financial accounting; and a minimum of nine semester or 13.5 quarter hour credits in elective accounting courses.

提示：非美学历报考需要走评估机构认证评估报考资格，马里兰州AICPA报考认可的是NIES评估，必须要用这个，其他的评估都不可以。

而NIES对中国国内学历具有一定的折扣，5-7折不等，会根据毕业学校的不同折扣有所不同。但该评估机构认可修补学分，对于学分不够的同学，情况允许可以选择修补学分报考。

考前学历认证需要准备哪些材料？

海外学历认证申请表格，以中国学历为例，需要填写学历所对应的中文毕业证书、学位证书、成绩单原件(或者加盖学校红章的复印件)及其相对应的敲章英文翻译件。(注：所在学校不能提供英文翻译原件，须提供由公证部门依据中文原件所做的英文公证书。)

要求：材料全部放在学校的学校信封中，在密封处加盖红章。成绩单最好有学分，方便报考选州+学分评估。

提醒：尽量避免在学校寒暑假的时间办理材料，因为假期学校一般都不予办理相关材料。

AICPA报考尽量要提前

AICPA报考资格认证，NTS申请都需要一定的时间周期，建议提前至少半年报考，另外如果自己涉及到补学分的话建议更早时间报考，因为学分不够一般情况下是需要先修补学分再走资格认证的。

而在认证的几个月的时间里，可以边补学分认证，边把USCPA学习起来，单科学习在3个月左右，简单一点的科目学习时间在2个月左右。
