This idea is too arbitrary. Google and Facebook also have potential ability to be the most valuable company. Don't forget the Facebook haven't gone public. Apple's surge depending on the developing of the IACT(information and community technology). The increasing demand of digital things make the devices widely sale. It's mostly accepted because of its unique design and APPs. And I think the Android also have contribution to its first place market share. But refer to the innovation part, I don't think it have surpass the left other communication industry companies much. Even though it do have the advantage of going into the smart phone market early. Nokia should admit this strategy fault.
