生物统计方法课件（R and SAS)，练习及解答
Introduction: This is an applied statistics course covering biostatistical methods for the analysis of
categorical data, with special emphasis on data collected from epidemiologic studies. Course
topics will focus on methods of categorical analysis most commonly used in practice. The goal is
to help students develop the skills needed to be a successful statistical analyst in the collaborative
research setting. To achieve this goal, we will work toward the following objectives:
Learn fundamental statistical methodology for the analysis of categorical data through the-
oretic development and examples.
Understand the practical applicability and limitations of the statistical methods.
Select appropriate statistical methods for data analyses.
Perform analyses using the SAS and R statistical software packages.
Communicate analysis results with short written reports summarizing the research question
of interest, the available data, statistical methods applied, and subsequent conclusions.
