Compute a histogram of the violent crime rate (vcri00).  First compute this showing the raw

frequency of each bar.  Then compute a relative frequency histogram.  Interpret the results.

Hints:  Search in the help menu for “histogram” to find the instructions for the command.  Which

is the correct option to use for the histogram of frequencies: density, fractions, or frequency?  

Which is the correct option to use for the relative histogram:  density, fractions, or frequency?  

Try each option and decide.

跪求有人回答！！！ 昨天装的STATA 有作业要做，连夜看了基本算法 但是 不理解题目。针对VRCI00的 HISTOGRAM 只有一个BAR。。。。。为啥后面要是FIRST....EACH BAR  我蛋都碎了。。。。。。

1.     density, fraction, frequency, and percent specify whether you want the histogram scaled to density
   
2.         units, fractional units, frequencies, or percentages.  density is the default.

4.         density scales the height of the bars so that the sum of their areas equals 1.
   
5. 
   
6.         fraction scales the height of the bars so that the sum of their heights equals 1.
   
7. 
   
8.         frequency scales the height of the bars so that each bar's height is equal to the number of
   
9.         observations in the category.  Thus the sum of the heights is equal to the total number of
   
10.         observations.

12.         percent scales the height of the bars so that the sum of their heights equals 100.

relative frequency应该就是fraction或者percent吧。
