这和人体实验完全不同
人体实验是把人体没有的病毒种植进去进行研究，和731差不多
而博士论文反映的是已经存在的社会问题，也就是说，这个病毒已经在人体客观存在了

这个装B的旅美学者说了一大堆废话，就是没说清这篇博士论文到底违背了他/她所定义的什么“学术伦理”。

这个装13的旅美学者使用了维基百科，但只采用了对他有利的证据，他那双13眼愣是没看到IRB豁免的情形，结合该博士论文，可能用到的豁免依据是4和5，摘录如下：
4. Research involving the collection or study of existing data, documents, records, pathological specimens, or diagnostic specimens, if these sources are publicly available or if the information is recorded by the investigator in such a manner that subjects cannot be identified, directly or through identifiers linked to the subjects.

5. Research and demonstration projects which are conducted by or subject to the approval of department or agency heads, and which are designed to study, evaluate, or otherwise examine:

public benefit or service programs;
procedures for obtaining benefits or services under those programs;
possible changes in or alternatives to those programs or procedures; or
possible changes in methods or levels of payment for benefits or services under those programs.

对被调查者做出保护是最基本的伦理要求。这样的保护也是出于学术的需要。因为如果被调查者无法得到保护，就不回说真话，因此要么不配合调查要么说假话。以后还怎么做调查。举个例子，你做几个公司的财务调查，老板好心让你看了财务数据，你在论文里指名道姓的说出来，以后就不可能让你看了。因为我们的社会学方面的论文太少，这种调查几乎没有所以没人关注这些问题。

生活总有不如意，但是明天的太阳依然会升起。
