China Confidential, a research service at the Financial Times, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated researcher to join a small team of specialists to analyze and report on economic themes of China such as inflation, social housing and export. The successful candidate will be active, resourceful, good at interview and poses an interest and knowledge in economics and industries. The candidate should also be able to work on tight deadline and travel will be required. 1-2 year experience in journalism is preferred. China Confidential is an integrated research service from the Financial Times that provides premium, exclusive analysis and predictions on China investment themes. Using a dedicated FT team of specialists in China and the UK, it taps Chinese sources from the grassroots to the political elite to forecast key trends and issues. It conducts proprietary research to supply its own insights into industry trends and consumer sentiment.
