You're wrong. CFA publishes "practice exam"-book7 every year. It's different with book6. The three sample exams in 2006 book7 are a little difficult than tthe three exams in book6(i feel). i feel it's quite useful to have additional three sample exams.

They do publish the practical exam different with the other 6 notes.

I have download and check with book 6.

They at least have different format. So I would say it's different.
