A place with less competition may help graduates develop better, where they can have their achievements to make their parents and themselves feel proud and  their personal value can be achieved as they expect.  Meanwhile, the life style can be quite different from that in big cities , you can chat with your friends with pleasure after work without worrying about tommorow's job, you can use your earnings as you like without any consideration of extra expenses, you can have meals with your family  everyday, etc.  In brief, life in hometown is wonderfu!

In my opinion,it's hard to live in big city for college students who don't have resources such as human relationship in the city. But after living in big city for a long term,they also can't adapt the life style after heading back home .
So,there is no alternative for them.

To make a middle choice ,choosing a job in the capital city of your hometown province will be a good option for the economic major students . The general headquarters of financial instruments are almost lie in big cites.

Yes, in smaller cities we suffer from less pressure in terms of our work and property, and we can get closer to our parents, which is particularly crucial in the time of polulation ageing and one-child policy, so we do enjoy a quality life in these cities if we really know how to give up some illusions. With the expansion of these cities and the urbanization of some rural areas, there will definitely be a lot more opportunities for these young graduates and it's true that more and more will be attracted there and join in the construction of their own hometown whilst enjoying an easeful life.
