On US stock markets, experts said (04/02): Inside daily patterns by the S&P 500, Nasdaq Composite and 100 future have underscored the near term indecisive tone. Markets are suffering near term bullish fatigue ahead of resistance, but continue to express reluctance to surrender support from the latter March bounces. We anticipate further cautious, non-trend consolidation over the next 1-2 weeks, but continue to believe that the asymmetrical risk into mid-Q2 is for markets to test and likely overcome their current 2007 peaks.

07/29/07: With slightly more than 300 of the S&P 500 companies reporting earnings for the first quarter, it appears as though the quarter has been a reasonably positive surprise. About 68% of the companies reporting have produced positive surprises. Dow is at historical high...

I am not necessary bullish on US equity but want to make the point that Mr. Market's middle name is "uncertain-ness"

Be careful of the Markets are in their exhaustion phases which normally wouldn't last more than 60 days.
