Job Title: Research Assistant in Econometrics and Data Science Location: Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Shatin, Hong Kong
We are seeking a dedicated Research Assistant with a strong background in econometrics and data science to join our team. This role will involve extensive work in coding and computation in R, as well as conducting literature reviews in related research areas.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide research assistance, primarily focused on coding and computation in R.
• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews in the related research field.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields. A Master's degree is preferred. 2. Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
3. Strong computational and coding skills in R.
4. Previous experience in real data analysis will be highly regarded.
Salary & Benefits: We offer a competitive salary package, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and statutory benefits will be provided in accordance with the prevailing labor laws applicable in the Hong Kong SAR.
