A fragile state contributes to the underdevelopment of the nation and its consequences can be very devastating on the state???s cohesion. Characterized by high level of corruption which lead the country to an incessant political instability and continuous presence of foreign troops . This paper used the vector autoregressive model (VAR) covering the period of 2005-2015 to examine the impact of control of corruption on fragility of state in Central African Republic (CAR). The results show that control of corruption is significant and has negative impact on fragility of state in the short run. The impulse response shows a negative impact of control of corruption in short-run but positive in long-run on fragility of state. The policies implications of this fragility are that the CAR must pursue better governance as well as in the investment choices. Unless CAR leaders and citizens recognize their own fragility, things can only get worse.
一个脆弱的国家会导致国家的不发达，其后果会对国家的凝聚力造成极大的破坏。其特点是高度腐败，导致该国不断出现政治不稳定和外国军队的持续存在。本文利用2005-2015年期间的向量自回归模型(VAR)考察了腐败控制对中非共和国国家脆弱性的影响。结果表明，治理腐败在短期内对国家脆弱性有显著的负面影响。脉冲响应在短期内对治理腐败有消极影响，但在长期内对国家脆弱性有积极影响。这种脆弱性对政策的影响是，汽车必须追求更好的治理和投资选择。除非汽车业领导人和民众认识到自己的脆弱性，否则情况只会变得更糟。
