Task:

Italian scientists were put on manslaughter convictions due to failing to predict deadly quake in 2009. Earthquake experts as well as other scientists worldwide expressed shock at the the convictions. Maybe they should procecute meteorlogists first since forecasts are offen misleading and it messed up a lot of our vocation plans.

i am also shocked by  the convictions . i agree with the last sentence . the weather forcasts are often wrong but the workers are never be punished . meybe the convictions was in light of the consequences.

This news really astonished me, though I had this thought when the terrific earthquake appeared in Wen Chuan,Si Chuan province.
The sentence subtly conveys our intense wrath of the irresponsibility of the authority department.
But, when I calm down, Iconsider that it's unfair to them. These things like earthquake and weather forecasting are totally too difficult to forecast exactly.
Unless we catch him tripping, we can't put him into jail. Otherwise, there will be no one wants to do this important job. It will bring the undesirable effect just as the economic conception "externality".
In the affair mentioned above, I prefer to hold the view that the scientist must do something unforgivable...
