15 positions available at all levels (Assistant, Associate and full Professors). Chinese and English speakers are welcome.
Jinhe was co-founded in Xian Jiaotong University (Top 10) by Chuntien Hu (Princeton ) and Yusen Kwoh (Chicago ) in 1997 to offer modern curriculum for B.A, M.A. and PhD degrees in economics. Most teaching/advising was done by visiting professors from Taiwan and US/Europe till now.
Mandated by XJTU to assemble 10-15 permanent/resident faculties from abroad in 2 years to build a core team of an elite academic oriented economics program from scratch. A sophisticated ancient capital of Imperial China, Xian is perfect to do pure academic inquiry/education and international exchanges.
Fields of interests : theoretical and applied micro, information/uncertainty, macro, international economics, economic history, finance(theoretical), math, IO, regulations, law&economics, labor, Bayesian econometrics.
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications. Senior team available to meet in San Diego AEA meeting.
