The thought leadership function in Advisory focuses on building organizational brand and developing business opportunities through original research reports with market impact and client relevance.
As an intern, you will:
- assist with the design and execution of research projects (including industry surveys)
- write and edit copy for thought leadership reports and press releases
- analyse data including results from research provided by third-party partners
- monitor Chinese economic, policy and market developments,
- analyze economic data and trends, conduct research using Excel and econometric tools
Profile:
- Level of education: Bachelor or Master degree
- No prior consulting experience but general knowledge of economic policy and business practice in China
- Language skills: Native Chinese speaker is essential, professional English preferred
- IT skills: Experienced with Excel, PowerPoint; working knowledge of statistical software preferred
- Quantitative skills: Candidates with strong quantitative backgrounds preferred (e.g. econometrics, statistics)
- Qualities: proactive and confident; very strong writing and editorial skills; attention to detail; clear and structured thinking
Starting date: after Chinese New Year. Length: 6 months
