Thank you for your attention! Spatial econometrics need some e-map particularly edited into the form of shp, however, which does not mean it relies on soft wares related to GIS. Some special soft wares exclusively developed for the application like Geoda are easy to be grasped. R has its unique advantage among the econometric software. While you should have an idea that the scholars in this field are used to employing which kinds of ones except your programming by yourself.

sure, it's on spatial economitrics! All these papers and books are useing the spatial economitrics method, espatially the spatial autoregresstion, spatial dependence, and Markov chains, etc. Certainly, most of them are not disscussing the theory, but the application.

Thank you for your kind answer! I am sorry for my hasty feedback to the list provided by yourself yesterday. However, today I scrutinize it again. I can not agree all of the papers are concerned with spatial econometrics. According to the authors, pulication time, the journal and in particular papers in Chinese, I guess this list has served the references to certain paper in terms of regional economic growth convergence or divergence, while just few of them are empirical ones with the application of spatial econometrics. Thank you for your kindness again! May we share your learning experiences here in the coming day.
