(1) Microeconomics: auctions, decision and game theory, externalities, behavioural economics, economics of ethical consumption.
(2) Economics of the Family and Household: demographics, labour participation, fertility, work/leisure trade-off.
(3) Industrial Organization and Market Structure: competition, mergers and acquisitions, oligopoly, industry studies (e.g. aviation, banking), theory of the firm.
(4) Macroeconomics: monetary policy, fiscal policy, business cycles, unemployment, taxation, inflation targeting.
(5) International Economics: current account and trade balance, exchange rates, exchange rate regimes, foreign direct investment, bilateral trade and specialization, currency and customs unions, capital flows, globalization.
(6) Development economics: economic growth, institutions, inequality, child labour, poverty, development, environment.
(7) Finance and Governance: financial markets, portfolio choice, corporate governance, microfinance.
