大家复习的时候是handbook和manual一起看的么？

那么，在credit risk部分讲credit derivative的部分，对credit spread forward的多头方的payoff，handbook和manual上的讲解是相矛盾的！！！不知大家怎么理解的？

具体在handbook上P507和manual第3册P126上

我个人认为，credit derivative的long和short在对证券价格的看涨看跌上与market risk中我们常见的derivative的看涨看跌是一致的，即多头方对证券看涨，空头方对证券看跌，所以，

credit spread forward payoff for long position=[F-S]*MD*Notional，

应该与handbook上给出的相反，manual上的应该是正确的。

不知大家都是什么理解和看法？？？

ps： 时间不多了，不知大家复习的时候偏重哪些资料？是handbook还是manual？manual上东西好多啊，不知是不是都会考？

像garp所说：handbook是不够的~~ 其他readings也要读？都到这份上了，肯定是顾不上积累了，而是直奔考试去了，多做题云云了，所以复习范围想彻底明确一下？

只看handbook+做历年考题和practice exam可不可以？

还有一个问题：今年的manual中没有讲Accounting and Tax issues，而handbook上相关章节即第28章上也说要明确一下书中本章的内容是不是在考试的topic之内

而StudyGuide2007上只要求了Legal，没有要求Accounting和Tax，那是不是意味着第28章的内容完全不考了？？？

但是，StudyGuide2006上也是只写明了Legal，没有要求Accouting和Tax，所以，如果有前辈考过2006frm，想请教是不是去年也没有考Accounting 和Tax的部分？？？

问题比较多，希望大家多多指教，多多探讨！！！

for credit spread ,F and S are not the value of bonds ,just the credit spread of bonds. when a bond price goes up ,all else hold constant,the credit spread becomes small.so while S>F,there is profits for long position.

ps: handbook just too simply ,if you know all topics,you can only review the handbook,otherwise you'd better take a look at the mannuls.

for the accounting and tax,i see the exam 2000 to 2002 had tested it .for 2006 ,i don't know ,because i am a candidate for 2007 .

btw: i learn the mannuls actually ,do the passed year's exams.
