Light at the end of the tunnel: Overnight there was full disclosure of Premier Li's speech
during the Economic Condition Conference held a few days ago. We were pleasantly
surprised by the strong policy support outlined by the Premier for railway infrastructure
investment. This also appears to be the cause for fixed-asset investment-related stocks to
rally strongly today. The specific policies that we find most interesting for railway
investment is as follows:
1. Premier Li said the government can selectively provide financial return guarantees to
railway projects with a return of official deposit rate +1-2%, and the railway industry
reform will continue to broaden the financing channel. A key focus will be to attract
private sector direct investment into railway projects.。。。。。
