Good idea!

I got admitted to Washington University in St. Louis this year, a top 20 university in US.(although a lot of people never heard of it).

I have already started my school for 2 weeks for summer preparation courses. I have to say that the course load is not low, especially for those who lack relating background. Actually, several of my American friends feel it extremely intense.

So whether choose to learn abroad is not only about the tuition or your English ability (of course they are very important). More importantly, it's about your study ability. Passing an exam here in US in a prestigious university is not something like in China. It's not that easy that you can pass by staying up one night before the exam. (of course, a not so good university is another matter)

In a word, be cautious and think again before you decide to across the ocean. But if you do, a whole new world will open up for you and all you need to do is working around the clock. Good luck and best wishes to all my fellow overseas students!
