3-day break and election decision could provide relief
The three day break since the tragic assassination of Benazir Bhutto, allowing the shock to be absorbed somewhat, along with PPP's willingness to take part in the elections, could cushion the negative reaction to the unfortunate event to some extent. However, given that the KSE-100 is trading at an all time high, on expectations of potential political ease, a negative knee jerk reaction by the market is likely. Early hours of trading already depict 4.6% declind in the index.
