As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at one noteworthy recent insider buy.

On Thursday, Prospect Capital (NASDAQ:PSEC)'s CEO, John F. Barry, made a $1.09M buy of PSEC, purchasing 100,000 shares at a cost of $10.86 a piece. Prospect Capital Corporation is trading up about 0.1% on the day Friday. Before this latest buy, Barry bought PSEC on 3 other occasions during the past twelve months, for a total cost of $1.14M at an average of $10.46 per share.
