Call for Participation

South Asian International Conference 2008 --------------------------------- Globalisation & Change : Issues, Concerns & Impact

SAICON 2008

Under the auspices of the Academy of Global Business Advancement (AGBA), COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT); the custodian of the South Asia Chapter is hosting its 1st South Asian International Conference SAICON 2008. The theme of the conference as announced by the Dr. Shaista E. Khilji, Director Conferences, AGBA is "Globalization & Change: Concerns, Issues & Impact. The conference will feature research papers, articles, working papers (or research in progress), student papers, doctoral colloquium and training workshops in order to facilitate the transfer of knowledge amongst researchers, academics, students and industry representatives within South Asia.

Areas of Interest

We are currently accepting abstracts for research papers in all areas of business and management, such as Human resource development  Competitive workforce development Performance and compensation management             Organization development & change Strategic marketing management Cross Cultural Management International Economics Global Finance & Accounting Technology Management E-Commerce & E-Business Corporate Governance Global Hospitality & Tourism Management             The deadline for submitting abstracts is July 20th, 2008. Submissions

The deadline to submit your abstracts via email to: abstracts@agba.org.pk in Word / PDF format exceeding to no more than 500 words which should fit on at least one (01) A-4 sized page only in English Language. The title of the paper must bold and underlined and the name of the author/authors may be placed below the title of the abstract (not bold, not underlined and not in italics) in Times New Roman font (11pt), both must be centered. Please mark margins of at least 1 inch on all sides, use Times New Roman font (11pt) and italicize the abstract and leave a line at the end. All authors of accepted abstracts will be notified through email indicating the submission of full papers.
