The straight line is the maximum likelihood fitted distribution and the dots are actual ones. The actual dist depends on which plotting position you have adopted. Ideally, a good fit needs the actual dots fall on the line. But it varies with your data and the model specification.  From your plot, the left side looks very questionable, because so many events are clustered on time 1.
