This article supports the view that, PC vendors focusing more on notebook PCs and emerging markets should be more resilient to economic uncertainty. There is still room for Acer, Lenovo, Synnex, and D-Link to increase market share as they only account for 52% of the global market share. However, SOHO networking vendors are unlikely to see meaningful growth drivers in 2008. To them, channels and efficiency are the keys to success.
