读完这本投资领域的概论书籍，让我对什么是投行、对冲和PE有了更全面的认识。阅读后发现，中国的资本市场距离一个规范的成熟的市场距离还是太远，这也说明中国的资本市场未来一定有大的发展。
书中首先对投资银行进行了介绍，包括基本概念、监管、业务类型(融资、并购等)、以及投资银行的职业、机遇和挑战；
其次介绍的是对冲基金，这里的对冲基金相对比较宽泛，基本和国内的私募债券投资基金对应，不过随着国内股票期权的推出，相信国内私募证券基金的策略将越来越和美国的对冲基金相似。让人理解深刻就是股东积极主义，如果中国可以有这些做法，相信公司的业绩将会更好；
然后介绍了私募股权投资基金，让我认识了如何让公司IPO和增发，其中的杠杆收购、EBITDA的重要性、财务报表的有效性等等。综述后的中国PE现状介绍，相信随着来年注册制的开展，中国的PE将迎来黄金发展期。
最后列举了一些案例，特别是贝尔斯登的案例，从中看到谣言和市场信心对一个行业和公司的影响，后果可能是毁灭性的。
总之，这本书对于理解投行、对冲和PE是一本非常好的入门书籍，可以经常拿来读读。
