| http://www.acem.sjtu.edu.cn/en/events/13947.html Call for PapersThe 2nd Biennial Conference of China Development StudiesPublisher：School of Economics Time：2014-12-18 The Biennial Conference of China Development Studies (BCCDS) is an international platform organized by the Shanghai Institute for National Economy (SHINE) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University for economists to exchange their cutting-edge researches on Chinese economy. On July 6-7, 2013, more than 50 international scholars participated in the first BCCDS, which was successfully held in Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The 2nd BCCDS is planned to be held on June 27-28, 2015. Chinese economy is experiencing drastic structural changes that challenge its sustainable growth. China's economic development is not a single economic phenomenon, but an interactive process between the economic, social and political factors. At the same time,Chinais also an important contributor to world development in its process of globalization. BCCDS aims to convoke outstanding scholars to study China's development and its influence on the world, and to enrich the knowledge of economics by the theoretical and empirical researches on the challenging issues of Chinese economy. The conference’s organizing committee invites the economists from both home and abroad to present their quality research papers. Any subjects are welcome, and priority will be given to work relatingChina’s economic development to its social and political structure. A proposal for a session with a specific topic and 3-4 papers is also welcome. The organizer will pay for the accommodation and round-trip economy-class ticket for 1 presenter of each paper accepted. No registration fee is charged. Submission Deadline: April 15, 2015. All contributing authors should submit their papers (in English) by email to: econ_sjtu@sina.cn. Please indicate "Paper Submission to BCCDS" as the email subject. Notification for paper acceptance will be emailed to authors before May 1, 2015.
