Are you interested in a new research endeavour with agreat research team, working with industry and applying business processmanagement and data mining skills to insurance claims management?
We have an outstanding opportunity available for aninnovative researcher in the field of Computer Science or Information Systemsto join the Business Process Management Discipline at Queensland University ofTechnology, Brisbane, Australia.
The position is for up to 1.5 years (preferably startingby June 2015) to work in the context of the Accelerate Grant funded project incollaboration with Queensland Motors Accidents Insurance Commission.
The salary scale for the position will be between AUD $60000 - $90 000 pa depending on your experience) plus 17% employersuperannuation. SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential:
1. PhD in arelevant field such as Computer Science or Information Systems
2. Provenin-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art methods and languages in the field ofBusiness Process Management (e.g. BPMN, BPEL, YAWL, EPCs).
3. Provenin-depth knowledge of mathematical techniques underlying Business ProcessManagement (e.g. Petri nets) and process mining (e.g. statistics, data mining);
4. Provenresearch expertise in process mining techniques (e.g. discovery, conformance,operational support);
5. Provenin-depth knowledge of tools in the area of process mining (e.g. ProM, Disco);
6. Strongresearch track record in Business Process Management, as evidenced bypublications in top journals and conferences in this field.
7. Demonstrated well developed oral communication skills to presentresearch findings to internal and external audiences.
Desirable:
8. Experiencewith industry-based projects.
9. At leasttwo years research experience post PhD.
