本人菜鸟，学到Inventory 的时候有个问题不明白，想请教一下：

在价格上涨的时间的，使用FIFO比使用LIFO的cash flow 更高，working capital 更高，这是为什么？

另，做题目的时候有一题目不明白求解答：
（US GAAP）Sipex Corporation uses the LIFO inventory method, but most of the other companies un Sipex use FIFO. Which of the following best describes one of the adjustments that would be made to Sipex's financial statements to compare that company with other companies in the industry? To adjust Sipex's ending inventory to FIFO method, the amount reported for Sipex's ending inventory should be:
1. increase by the ending balance in Sipex's LIFO reserve
2.decrease by the ending balance in Sipex's LIFO reserve
3.Increase by the change in Sipex's LIFO reserve for that period.

呃，居然几天都没人回复楼主，我给个简单理解吧。一般价格是上涨的，使用LIFO，COGS会相对高，Gross Profit就相对低，Tax Paid就低，所以Cash Flows就会高（楼主说的有误）。  关于LIFO Reserve二级才会详细说，但是一级的确会考。 理解也是类似，一般价格是上涨的，使用LIFO，Inv会相对低，所以 FIFO Inv = LIFO Inv + LIFO Reserve。  

漏了Working capital。 价格上涨，使用LIFO，Inv低，Current Assets低，Current Libilities不变， WC=CA - CL，所以WC相对FIFO会低。 简单的记忆： 价格上涨，LIFO税少，只有CF和Inv Turnover ratio会好于FIFO，其他ratio基本都是差。

路过 留下脚印   FIFO就是先把成本便宜的卖出去    revenue不变，cogs减小，所以gross profit就高了，相关的现金流就依次高了
