在对两个变量做crosstabs时，时间限定在5分钟内，等了很久之后结果终于出来了，但是

Chi-Square Tests表格下面有这样3句话，有没有人能告诉我是什么原因呢？

a. 0 cells (.0%) have expected count less than 5. The minimum expected count is 36.17.

b. Cannot be computed because there is insufficient memory.

 

 

c. Cannot be computed because the time limit has been exceeded.

应该是电脑的配置不够吧

This part of the syntax:

/METHOD=EXACT TIMER(5).

tells SPSS to try to calculate for 5 minutes before quitting. You can increase that number for SPSS to try longer. However, if you keep increasing it and it still doesn't finish, it can be very time consuming to keep trying, so it might be a better idea to switch your method to Monte Carlo because it has a 99% confidence interval and it's not likely to be off by that much. In the end, you have to decide whether or not it's worth the time to get the exact value
